The benches from the 'Big Furniture' family are computer-milled out of EPS - a.k.a. styrofoam - and covered with a strong polyurethane coating. Thus it is possible to produce large objects that are both light in weight and sturdy at the same time. The coating is coloured through-and-through so small damages are hardly visible.
