The two elementary schools face each other, but are not spatially connected. Each school has its own facilities. Since the budget was minimal, the only way to realize extra facilities – such as street furniture and play objects – was to propose one compact linear element upon which all the facilities are concentrated: a spatial backbone connecting the two schools.
